Globalhair - For Any Character - Hair Library

Global Hair is a procedural hairstyle library built with Geometry Nodes and Curves for Blender. It’s designed for flexibility, speed, and realism, and can be used with any character in just a few steps.

To install, open Blender, go to Edit → Preferences → Add-ons → Install, select the .zip file, and enable it. You’ll find the panel inside the N-Panel under “Global Hair.”

Adding and using hairstyles is simple. Choose a style from the panel, attach the scalp to your character with Skinwrap or Surface Deform, and adjust the look by editing the curves or using the Geometry Nodes sliders. You can control quality and performance through three main settings that let you switch between high-detail and lighter versions.

Global Hair was built and optimized for Cycles to achieve the best realism possible, but it also works perfectly with Eevee and Octane. If you’re using those, simply replace the default Principled Hair BSDF with a regular Principled BSDF or your preferred Octane shader.
