Info:
It’s Pattern Making Time!

This class shows you the whole process of creating a repeat pattern from your paintings in Photoshop.

– from the scanning

– and removing of the white background

– to creating a beautiful seamless repeat

I put all my experience of 7 years in the textile design industry into this class and show you my favorite design methods, adjustment layers and clipping masks included.

We will create a classic basic repeat (also called a straight or box repeat) that is industry standard and ready to use and sell for all kinds of surface pattern design products.

If you are at the beginning of your pattern design career, this class will get you started in no time and the more experienced designer might also steal a trick or two from me ;-)

Everything is explained as if you would be sitting next to me and you can rewatch it over and over and also ask me in the Discussions’ and I will try to help.

In this class I will be using artwork I painted in my class Loose Watercolor Florals – From Vintage Inspiration to Modern Inspiration Part 1. Maybe you have already taken this class and have your own floral paintings ready. You can apply this method to any other artwork too, of course.
