Pablo Carpio will create cinematic concept art using 2D and 3D tools. In this episode, he’ll create artwork based on a sci-fi prompt assigned to him by the Randomizer — an expedition to an unusual planet where human fears manifest and giant glass golems with several heads and two pairs of hands dwell.

You’ll discover how to build a composition and choose the light balance. Also, you’ll learn how to model scene elements in 3D using photogrammetry and kitbash assets.

You’ll learn about sculpting in ZBrush and compositing in Octane Render, as well as how to polish art in Photoshop.

Pablo has a strong background in traditional painting, drawing and art history, having studied at Complutense University of Madrid. His work and tutorials have also been published in magazines like 2dartist and ImagineFX.

He has created concepts for top Hollywood movies like Captain Marvel, Justice League, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
