Came back to this and tested it, here's the run down.
The Artist is a lazy dick.

Has dsf files for G8. Obj files for whichever- once asset transfer is done.
Put the dsf for g8 onto the g3, the greaves work, so everything else should.
Texture files work with both.
Since the dsf files are for G8, use from there. Fuck the object files.
