because stuff/morphs from v4 arent naturally compatible with v6 and 7 models.

Some people have 1000's of items of V4 and can't be bothered to start a new collection every 9 months when DAZ decide to cash in on a new Genesis. I still use 3rd gen stuff sometimes.

because v5 and 6 are just high quality gen2 fems. v7 is gen 3.
v4 is as easy to use as gen2. adjustments may need to be made on certain clothes though.
