Spiders (order Araneae) are arthropods that have eight legs, chelicerae with fangs that are generally able to inject venom, and spinnerets that extrude silk. They are the largest order of arachnids and rank seventh in total species among all orders of organisms. Spiders are found worldwide on every continent except for Antarctica, and have become established in nearly every land habitat.

This set includes six different spider species ranging from master web spinners such as the orb weavers to “hunter” spiders that spin no webs and forage out into the “wilds” to catch their prey. The species included also represent a wide range of toxicity from the harmless common Cellar Spider (aka Daddy Longlegs) to the fearsome bite from the Brown Recluse (aka Violin Spider). Most of the spiders come with preset Dynamic/Strand-based hair om them.

This add-on set comes in both Poser and DAZ Studio native versions and supports Firefly, 3Delight, Superfly and Iray render engines. It uses DAZ Studio's Strand-based hair and Poser's Dynamic Hair which is already preset and ready to render.


NOTE: The separate purchase of “Nature’s Wonders Spiders” (base set) is required for this set to function.
