Don't use the installer (the instructions clearly say you will need a serial key).
Instead, use the third installation method, that means: unzip the 'extracted_files.zip' to where your DAZ Studio is installed (for example: Program Files, for a 64 bit installation).
Run DAZ Studio and check help/about installed plugins to verify that the plugin has loaded. In this case, a 'Start Headshop' option will be found on your Edit menu. You should REALLY read the pdf manual before using the software.

Got it installed and it shows up under the edit menu but after making selections and hitting ok it says "can't find faceshop plugin!"

Check that your 'HeadShop plugin' folder is located inside your 'DAZ 3D' folder and outside your 'DAZStudio4 folder'.
