Need a Light

Need a light? Have a scene set up but something is missing? These twenty models of light fixtures come with light-emitting materials and function like their real-life counterparts. There are models of lights from residential, office, and industrial locations.

Four of the models are rigged. For example, each lamp on the track lighting model can be independently moved along the track, turned around, and rotated outwards or inwards. Similarly, the lights on the old-styled, emergency lighting can be turned around and rotated up and down. Except for the exit signs, all lights initially load unlit. A separate folder provides light-emitting material for each model.

You can light an entire scene with just these lights by setting to “Scene Only” in the Environment tab of the Render Settings. However, for best results, you should use additional lights and/or lower the intensity of the HDRI map in the Environment tab of the Render Settings.

All materials are provided in Iray format. Please note that the light-emitting materials rely solely on the Iray light emission values — no IES profiles are included.
