Shark Tail Reimagined Texture Add-On for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Female* is a texture add-on that will expand the base product to encompass 3 more species: leopard shark, tiger shark, and orca (a shark masquerading as a Killer Whale!).
Each texture comes with 5 alternate color versions so you can have variations within the species. Since the orca does not have any patterns to the skin to play with, we added a fancy tattoo instead.
In total, you get 15 full transition material presets and 18 partial material presets to add, control, and refine the emission of the pattern and, in orca’s case, the tattoo to give your character a magical glow. This pack also includes a set of subtle scars for the leopard and orca transitions. The tiger transition uses the same scars as the white shark. That said, you can use the scar presets included in the original pack to control the intensity of the scars of this pack.
Like with the base product, we built these designs around the Iray 4-Layer Uber PBR shader, ensuring a highly customizable design right from the comfort of the Daz Studio interface (surface panel). In fact, all of the color variations shown here use the same set of maps and alter the colors in the surface panel, which not only saves on disc space but will allow you to create your own color combination.
*Note: The geoshell textures in this product use the Genesis 8 Base Female UVs. An additional wearable has been set up to create compatibility with Genesis 8.1 Female characters.
Important: The presets contained in this pack should all be applied to the transition geoshell. Also, the materials for the transition geoshell (overall look) will not be fully visible in the viewport and the opacity will not be apparent. Still, they will render as shown in their icons.
