WC Dimetrodon
Detail link: https://www.daz3d.com/wc-dimetrodon
The Dimetrodon is probably the most well-known sail-backed Dinosaur from the early Permian period (295 - 272 million years ago), except that he is not actually a Dinosaur at all, he is a Synapsid being more closely related to Humans and other Mammals than Dinosaurs that came along some 40 million years later.
Dimetrodon has more than enough morphs and controllers to make posing and shaping him a breeze, he comes with 3 different saliva wearables, a bloody face Geoshell for when he needs to chow down on the included Diplocaulus prop for a tasty snack. These can all be easily deleted or just hidden from the scene tab if needed. He has aliases or copies of the ERC controllers in logical places for your convenience, such as tongue, teeth, and eye controls in the head bone which can be selected with the Node Selection Tool easily.
He has multiple eyes, teeth, and skin material options as seen in the promotional images, even some that use the PBRSkin shader for the skin only, these have a subtle difference from the Iray Uber shader-based skin.
For times when you need a close-up shot of Dimetrodon you can use the Height maps ON option, this will use more system resources as he is subdivided at render time, how to use Dimetrodon in both Daz and Blender is detailed in a PDF guide that is included. For Blender users I have created a simple-to-use rig similar to a Rigify rig, I have included all necessary files to install into your asset library.
Get the Dimetrodon today as no Permian period render would be complete without the ultimate apex predator of his time!
