The original English Village set that I did for Carrara (over ten years ago!) was one of my most popular sets and so I have now converted and enhanced it for Daz Studio.

An English Village for Daz studio is an extensive and detailed complete environment based on the real village of Linton in North Yorkshire. There are so many photo opportunities - have a drink at the pub complete with hanging baskets, tables and chairs and pints on the table. Then take a stroll over to the imposing village hall and take a walk by the river, admiring the three bridges, the old ford and the stepping stones. Complete your walk past stone cottages, the bus stop and characteristic dry stone walling, arriving at the monument on the village green, just by the old phone box and postbox.

The set has been created to be as efficient yet detailed as possible given the large scale, with the main area being around 500 feet (150 meters) square, although a lower resolution background gives the impression that it is even larger. It loads and renders much faster than you may expect and some details are hidden until render time in order to speed up the preview interface. To enhance the set even further I have include presets to change the tree foliage from Spring, Summer, Autumn (not “Fall” - this is a UK set!) and Winter, change the foliage density, set the time of day from early morning to late in the evening in hourly increments, set the levels of haze and even turn on the floodlights at the pub! A dozen cameras are also included at key points to help set up your perfect shot. This set is for Iray only.
