Wollemi Pine Trees - Prehistoric Plants
Detail link: https://www.daz3d.com/wollemi-pine-trees--prehistoric-plants
The extraordinary wollemi pine dates back to the time of the dinosaurs.
This living fossil was thought to be extinct for two million years until a small population was discovered in the Blue Mountains of Australia in 1994.
Today, the species is critically endangered and restricted to fewer than 100 trees in Wollemi National Park, Australia.
But here in the digital world, you can plant as many of these wonderful trees with their large needles and odd shapes as you want.
Feed your digital dinosaurs, pop one (or more) into a garden, or use them in a natural landscape — these lush pine trees are yours for the planting.
You'll get 10 different plants (including 2 groups of plants for quick population) with textures taken from pics of the specimens in Kew Gardens in London.
As always, a little goes a long way, and slight variations in scale and the Y rotation axis values will make one plant and its instances look like many.
So go on and give your T. rex some authentic prehistoric foliage and own a wonderful digital tree collection of these weird and lovely exotic trees!
